Literacy ~ Letter Feature Finding

Today in literacy we worked together to find the features of a letter. We looked at different letter examples and then began to spot the features that they all had.

We came up with these features to use in our own letters later this week:

• Address
• Date
• Dear...
• Why you're writing
• The main points to your letter
• Ask for a reply
• Closing (Yours sincerely)
• Name

We are looking forward to writing a letter to Paddington Bear later this week!
